What is an AIMP Skin?

How do I change the AIMP skin?
  • Open the AIMP music player.

  • Right-click in the player area or press Ctrl+P to open the Settings.

  • In the Settings window, select "Appearance" on the left side.

  • Under the "Current Skin" section, click the "Browse" button to choose a new skin file from your computer.

  • Once you've selected the desired skin, click "OK" to change the AIMP skin.

Where can I get skins for AIMP?

You can obtain AIMP skins from various sources, including the official AIMP website, community forums, and these websites that offer skin collections. Make sure to only download skins from trusted sources to avoid the risk of malware or other security issues.

Are all skins compatible with the latest AIMP version?

No, some skins may not be compatible with the latest AIMP version due to interface or feature changes. Ensure you get a skin that is compatible with the version of AIMP you are using.

Why don't I see changes after applying a new skin?

If you don't see changes after applying a new skin, try exiting AIMP and reopening it. If the issue persists, make sure the selected skin matches your AIMP version, and check if the skin consists of correct and complete files.

Can I change the color or layout of elements in the skin?

Depending on the specific skin, some may allow you to customize the color or layout of elements. However, not all skins have this customization option. You need to check the skin's documentation or settings to see if such adjustment options are available.

How do I remove or restore the default skin?

To remove an installed skin, go back to the "Appearance" section in the AIMP Settings. Click the "Remove" or "Uninstall" button next to the name of the skin you want to delete. To restore the skin to the default, simply select the default skin from the available skin list.
